What Information We Collect
When you use our website builder or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, mobile number and email address
- Your business name, trade type and location
- Information about your website goals, services, competitors and target customers
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your card details)
- Your IP address and basic browser information (standard web server logs)
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to:
- Build your website and deliver the service you've engaged us for
- Send you your website brief and project updates
- Process your deposit payment via Stripe
- Contact you about your project via email, phone or WhatsApp
- Send marketing emails if you've opted in during the discovery session (you can unsubscribe any time)
We do not sell your information to third parties. Ever.
Marketing Emails
If you tick the consent box during your chat with Jess, we'll send you occasional emails with tips and insights about tradie websites. These emails comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) — every email includes a clear unsubscribe link.
To unsubscribe, click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email mike@ordinaryagency.com.au and we'll remove you immediately.
Third-Party Services We Use
We use the following services to deliver Send It Bro:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN and security. Data processed across their global network.
- Anthropic — powers Jess (chat with Jess). Your conversation is used to generate your Scope of Work only.
- Resend — sends transactional emails (your brief, confirmations).
- Stripe — processes deposit payments. We never see or store your payment details.
- Make.com — automation platform that manages follow-up email sequences.
- Slack — internal notifications when a new brief is submitted (Mike's side only).
Each service has their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum information each service needs to function.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Your website brief is stored for 14 days after submission, then automatically deleted. Project emails are retained for up to 2 years for business record purposes. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.
Your Rights Under the Privacy Act
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal obligations)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you're not satisfied with how we handle your request

Cookies & Local Storage
Our website uses browser local storage to remember your progress through the discovery session (e.g. your name, package selection) so you can return and pick up where you left off. This data is stored on your device only — not on our servers — and expires after 7 days.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continuing to use our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
